Auto Repair

The small town of Clinton is located in Hunterdon County along the south branch of the Raritan River. The town was named for New York Governor DeWitt Clinton back in 1829. Clinton was incorporated as a town in 1865 and gained full independence from its parent townships in 1895. It covers a total area of 1.4 square miles and today is home to fewer than 3,000 residents.

A popular attraction near Clinton is Cushetunk Mountain, while the nearby Round Valley Reservoir is one on the deepest bodies of water in New Jersey. Clinton is perhaps best known for its two mills. The Red Mill for wool processing dates back to 1810, and the Stone Mill operated continuously until 1936. In 1952, local residents came up with a plan to convert the historic Stone Mill building into an art museum, which remains in operation today.
